Balanced Scorecard Implementation Assistance

To assist organisations to navigate this we have put together a package that can be delivered remotely to assist with:

•             Developing a strategy that is implementable and able to unite the stakeholders on the future direction. The strategy must also include compliance to corporate governance

•             To define objectives and measures that will ensure that management has the tools to monitor progress towards success and be able to make course adjustments before to many resources have been committed

•             Ensuring that risks related to performance measures are identified and measures put in place to ensure management of risks

 

Program:

 1.           Module 1: Developing a robust simple implementable strategy 

a.           2 to 3 hrs Zoom training session to explain

i.             The balanced Scorecard principals

ii.            What questions to ask to develop the strategy

iii.          How to use the template provided to build a strategy map

b.            The organisation will then develop their strategy

c.            The strategy will be reviewed by us to provide suggestions etc.

d.           Followed by a 1 to 2 hrs zoom session to discuss the suggestions and how to communicate the strategy to the stakeholders.

2.           Module 2: Developing objectives and measures

a.           2 to 3 hrs Zoom session to train and assist with:

i.             Converting the strategy into objectives and measures

ii.            Setting targets

iii.          Developing measures that manages risks related to performance

b.            The organisation will then develop their objectives and measures using the template provided

c.            The Objectives and measures will be reviewed by us to provide suggestions etc.

d.           Followed by a 1 to 2 hrs zoom session to discuss the suggestions and how to roll down to the next level units if required

3.           Module 3 developing measures to be fully understood

a.           2 to 3 hrs Zoom session to train and assist with:

i.             Defining measures to ensure understanding and commitment (what, where who how much etc.)

ii.            Identifying initiatives and actions required to achieve target

iii.          Ensuring individuals are accountable for measures and results

b.            The accountable people will define the measures they are accountable for and identify actions and initiatives required to achieve target

c.            The measures will be reviewed by us to provide suggestions etc.

d.           Followed by a 1 to 2 hrs zoom session to discuss the suggestions

4.           Module 4 Assistance with Plan do Review cycle

a.           2 to 3 hrs Zoom session to train and assist with:

i.             Planning for plan do review meetings

ii.            Conducting the meetings

iii.          Developing action plans to get back on target

b.            Plans for the meeting to be submitted

c.            The plans will be reviewed by us to provide suggestions etc.

d.           Followed by a 1 to 2 hrs zoom session to assist with conducting the meeting to enable meeting chairs to effectively conduct plan do review meetings

5.           Module 5 aligning the individual performance management with the business performance

a.           2 to 3 hrs Zoom session to train and assist with:

i.             Understanding of how to develop PM systems that motivate and align to organisation goals

ii.            Developing an individual PM agreement using the template provided

iii.          How to do a PM assessment which will develop staff to become the stars that we need to survive and thrive

b.            Each manager to develop PM agreements for their direct reports

c.            The PM agreements will be reviewed by us to provide suggestions etc.

d.           Followed by a 1 to 2 hrs zoom session to discuss suggestions
